Janis Pulliam is a bodyworker and educator with over 17 years of experience in massage therapy and over 27 years of experience in health education. She is a graduate of the former Carolina School of Massage Therapy in Carrboro, North Carolina. Janis has practiced massage in Chicago, and San Diego. She currently practices in Wilmington, NC.
Janis holds certifications in a wide variety of massage and healing techniques. She is a Reiki Master and Master-level Hypnotherapist with training in swedish and deep tissue massage, manual lymphatic drainage, lypossage natural body contouring, therapeutic touch, ayurvedic therapies, cranioscral therapy, aromatherapy, foot reflexology, La Stone Therapy, and Thai bodywork.
Janis personally studied and worked with Dr. Deepak Chopra, an internationally known ayurvedic physician and author. Janis is certified by the Deepak Chopra Center for Well Being as a mind-body educator, ayurvedic therapist, primordial sound meditation instructor, and magic of healing educator. Janis also trained with Charles W. Wiltsie, III, founder of Lypossage, and is a certified Lypossage Master Trainer and Spa Consultant.

She has taught in the public school system, massage schools, community colleges, and four year colleges.
